The Project Aims At Designing A Gazebo And To Inculcate All The Structural Details Taught In The Abcm And Tos Class During Lecture Hours. The Main Subject Was To Design The Structure In Rcc. It Was A Fun Exercise Where We Were Challenged To Test Ourselves With How Much Ever Knowledge We Have In Technical Subjects.
Our Approach Towards It Was To Create A Simple Shady Space To Relax In A Place Like Garden . The Heart Of The Gazebo Is A Rcc Dome Shading A Spiral Staircase.Another Different Concept That We Tried Was Reinforcing Tapering Columns.
Proceeding With The Structural Details We Designed The Slab, Dome, Staircase, Beam And Column Structure.Several Points Like Plinths, Headrooms ,Structural Stability , Spatial Experience , Aesthetics Were Considered While Designing.
